Doctors
Does anyone else feel like their doctors aren’t really helpful? I feel like I always get the run around with them. For examples, before my husband and I started trying for kids (about 9 months now). The doctor was trying to find out if I had endometriosis. The first doctor told me well if your periods are the issue let’s get on BC. I went on BC and to not have periods anymore. (Nuvaring) I had mentioned to the doctor that we were going to start trying soon. About 4 months later I went of BC and then 2 months after we started trying. The next time I went in bc I had a weird clot that was huge and it felt like it ripped my insides outs to where I almost passed out. I mentioned it to my doctor and he said well since you’re trying to get pregnant if you’re not pregnant within a year, you most likely have endometriosis...... okay. Fast forward 9 months and now haven’t gotten my periods in 67 days and counting. They put me on provera for 10 days. Said i should start 2-7 days after and if not to call. Well... I didn’t start and I called.. now they said oh it can take two weeks... and to call back.
I feel like I get a lot of half hearted answers and rushed. I’ve done blood work and everything came back normal.
It’s just super frustrating not having a period when you’re trying to get pregnant. People always say “it’s not your time”. “It will happen” but honestly it can’t if I’m not having a period. Just needed to vent. I know people have way worse stories and have been trying way longer then we have....
But I just feel like my doctors aren’t super helping, and put more doubt in my head.
