My daughter is 4.5 and just lost her first tooth. I thought it was early too, but they say anywhere between 4-7 is normal. 4 is just the earlier end of the spectrum. She didn’t have any pain or anything, she was eating a pretzel when it became loose. Her teeth are healthy, no cavities, etc.. every kid is different. :) hope this helps.
