My daughter is such a mommas girl and it makes my fiancé so jealous. She's 8 months old and gives me kisses and hugs and will always choose mommy when wanting attention. She always rubs my face and hair and smacks anyone else including daddy. I feel bad for him but I guess he should have spent more one on one time with her when she was smaller 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter was a mommy’s girl until about a year old and then she switched and she will always choose daddy over mommy. It was hard a first but when it’s just her and I, she is super loving and happy. She just loves being around her dad 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son only has eyes for my husband. It’s been really painful to be a third wheel but I’m hopeful as he gets older that he also values our relationship in a different but equal way. Now that he is 2.5 I can say it is definitely better than it was a year or year and a year and a half ago, and I hope it just keeps on improving. Quarantine has unfortunately been a bit or a setback for us, since we can’t have our special alone time, but I have to just keep hoping for the future.

Mommas boy, then mutual. Then for the loooongest time he was a daddy’s boy. Like wanted nothing to do with me. Every time dad would leave the room, he’d cry and cry. Always ran to dad. Always wanted dad to hold him. If I tried he just reach for dad instead. Then he was pretty mutual again. But for a while now hes been a mommas boy again😊 so I get it I was happy he had that relationship with his dad but it also made me sad sometimes! My boyfriend felt bad too, but he also enjoyed it lol.

Definitely a mama’s boy. My husband does barely anything with him and it’s been that way since he was born. He picks on him a lot and teases him too. Then he wonders why my son is always asking for me and wanting me to do things 🙄

My LO has always been a bit more of a momma's boy even though my husband spends a lot of time with him. We both work full time. But recently since this pandemic started and we are both working from home with my LO with us 24/7 it's become more equal. I'm still the one he runs too first though when he gets a boo-boo. 😅

It goes back and forth. They both started as bigger fans of me. Currently my 3.5 year old prefers me and my 11 month old prefers my husband, it’s nice when the phases oppose like that lol

My daughter who is 4 next month, is definitely a mamas girl, she clings to me, constantly tells me she loves me and kisses me and my partner does get jealous, he will say "and do you love daddy" she will move her eyes to look at him and go...yeah 🙈
He is a fantastic dad, but he doesnt realise that playing with her 20 minutes twice a day and taking her to bed 4 nights a week isnt enough.
I work also (well currently on maternity leave 37+4) but when I got in from work i was with her constantly and weekends no matter what I am doing she is with me, he maybe takes her out one in 3 or 4 weekends, as he has his son from a previous relationship and goes swimming or to the pictures with him, and my daughter likes neither of those things so it does separate our weekends, we dont really get to do alot together. Please bear in mind, his son is 17, 18 in july, he is not 10 if it seems thsy way!! But that's a whole different story

My oldest has always been a mama’s boy, but is getting attached to my husband more since the baby was born. My 4 month old is a mama’s boy too, but loves to look at and smile at daddy but then cries when he holds him majority of the time, especially when he can see me. Except for mornings, he likes his daddy time in the mornings.

My daughter is both... depending on her mood. Dads more fun, will spend the day in the backyard with her, lays on the floor and let her climb all over him...

My LO was all about me but is now pretty equal with us both being at home so much at the moment. I’ve heard under 12 months it’s pretty normal to be all about the mother/primary caregiver but later on it can switch back and forth.
