Guy I like upset about my past sex life?

Hi guys, recently been talking to a guy. He’s only had sex once before, he was planning on saving it for someone he truly loved, but then fell through out of anger. My body count is 7, and he knows that. It bothers him a lot, and it makes me feel like a slu* (sorry I hate using that word but it’s just how I feel) I never judge anyone for their count or anything, because I believe it’s ones own choice yanno what to do with their body, and you never know someone’s story. I don’t know what to do or think, just really upset. Any thoughts?

I feel like if it has continuously makes him upset instead of him just reacting, processing and accepting then he’s not a good match for you. You’re not a slut. He made his choices and you made yours. Neither make you a bad person. It’s not a good feeling being in a relationship with someone who can’t accept you for who you and who you’ve been. Sounds like he’s letting his insecurities get the best of him.

There’s nothing wrong with your sexual history, it’s no ones business but yours so he shouldn’t even have an opinion on it (that’s just what I think at least).

My ex was really insecure because my body count was more than double what his was. There’s nothing wrong with exploring your sexuality and having multiple partners as long as you’re safe and knowledgeable. If he has that big of an issue with it he can move on. I used to always joke about men like this and say, “they’re just intimidated because I have more game than they do”. (If it makes you feel any better my magic number is 23. And I’m healthy as a horse because I was clean and safe about it!)
