Tried to straighten my thick curly hair

Okay so I ordered this hair brush straightener from Miropure through Amazon. The reviews were great. It looked like it worked for all hair types so I expected it to work for me... 😬

This is the before: I washed my hair and let it air dry. Looks like clown hair, I know 😂

The instructions said to NOT use any hair products while using the straightener so I followed that. Some reviewers said they used it on their wet hair (I’m scared to try that) but the instructions said to use it on dry hair.

It got my hair straight but it was still puffy so I used a flat iron as well. MiroPure on the left and MiroPure+Flat iron on the right.

After flat ironing my whole head (which is exactly what I was avoiding. I have an In-styler and a flatiron so I wanted just one single product that I could use and I thought the MiroPure would’ve been it but I guess not) this is what my hair looks like:

Anyways, I made this post to ask women with similar hair like mine, how do you get your hair bone straight? My hair is already puffy (after a day.. even though I tried to flat iron it again) so I know it’s not going to last me the 2 weeks I was expecting it too .

I want to give the MiroPure another chance. Any advice?

No, I do not want a hair relaxer 🙄 please do not suggest that again.
