Electric breast pump?

What are your experiences with electric breast pumps? Are they worth the heavy price tag? I'd like to hear your thoughts

If you are in the US, your insurance should cover at least some of it per the ACA, aside from Medicaid. I would call and ask about your benefits and if you have to order from a durable medical equipment supply company or if you can get it anywhere.
If you don't have coverage for it, whether or not it's worth it will depend heavily on how much you foresee needing to pump. I had to pump 3-5 times per day for almost 9 months while I was at work. No way in the world would I have survived that without a double electric pump. If you plan to stay home and just want to pump occasionally to have a few bottles when you want to go out or whatever, a manual pump may work just fine.

Like others said see if one gets covered by your insurance. I got mine, even though I knew I would be staying home and I was so glad I did and had it ready when I got home from the hospital. My daughter wouldn’t latch and now I am an exclusive pumper. I also have a manual pump that I use when I am out and about, or at least I did before everything shutdown due to covid

I'm going to be getting the Spectra. Just check to be sure, but if you have insurance it may be covered by your insurance.
