Caldesene cream replacement?

Katherine

My daughter is starting daycare in a couple of weeks, and we use caldesene powder to prevent diaper rash. It’s been perfect and her little butt hasn’t been red at all since. Her daycare doesn’t allow powders and only allow diaper creams. What is the next best thing to use? We were using boogie bottoms spray and that didn’t prevent diaper rash for our little one, so now I’m nervous to switch to a cream again where she may get another bad diaper rash....

When her diaper rash was bad, we used desitin at first, and that didn’t help at all. When we started to use the aquaphor it did help, but we haven’t tried the desitin since in order to prevent the diaper rash (we only tried it to fix the diaper rash which it didn’t help with at all). Any advice/help is appreciated. Our pediatrician is the one who said the powder is the best so I haven’t tried to ask them yet about the cream but I will be calling them later to ask.
