Question

Is hatch really the best? I’m considering removing it from my registry that projects lights and makes noise.

I love ours. We used a Bluetooth speaker with an app and even bought a portable sound machine when LO was napping downstairs, and the quality didn’t compare at all. I especially love that you can control it from your phone. When we move baby girl out of our room, we’ll program it for bedtime and wake up time. Super useful!

I got this because I was tired of putting YouTube on my phone when in public. This charges with a USB charger so no batteries needed. Has 3 different noises and is also loud enough! Other portable ones I tried weren’t loud enough. Battery lasts about 8 hours.

I have been thoroughly impressed by this one. We’ve tried a few, including the Hatch, but were disappointed by them. This one actually muffles noise from outside the room, so it’s great if your LO is a light sleeper like mine. It’s got several noise options, including a womb sound, but the fan sounds work best for muffling external noises. The company has several different versions (some have night lights and other functions), but they all offer the same high quality white noise.

My son was having such a hard time sleeping at like 2 weeks old. He’d sleep all day and stay awake at night. Used 2 different ones from target he hated them. Have in to the hatch because I was using my phone for white nose to help him sleep. Well worth the money! I use it every night as a nightlight to feed and change and he knows as soon as the sound comes on and he gets in his swaddle it’s bedtime! He’s now 5 weeks and usually gives me a good 4-5 hour sleeping block!

I also have this one next to baby’s crib. It gets loud enough, and I live that it has many different sounds to choose from. My baby enjoys Fan 2 and White Noise 2. I had tried a different white noise but he didn’t like it. This one let me try out different sounds.

We occasionally used this baby shusher in the beginning but found that a standard box fan on high worked best for our boy. At 16 months we still keep it on and he sleeps great and can’t hear anything outside his room.

Our baby actually loves it so far. She has been napping in her crib so good, and blocks out outside noise. Its nice to use during night feeds too. I think it was worth it
