How are your babies with the dogs?
In the beginning, my retriever and my son were super cute together. He'd hug on her and she would play chase with him around the house. Past couple months though he is taking frustration out on her..... for example, if I'm making dinner and he wants to be held (every night) and I can't tend to him like he wants, he'll do a little storm off and get rowdy and aggressive with the dog. He used to be very gentle with her and genuinely was kind to her. Hes also finding it hilarious to scare my little dog and antagonize her. I know a lot of this is normal for babies, but my concern is the change in his approach to the dogs and my dogs both dont like him anymore. And most importantly. Is it normal for him to take his frustrations out on my dog at such an early age? Anger issues run in my family so I get really really worried. He is definitely an angry and temperamental little dude and I have always been so patient and loving and I know for a fact my approach has mellowed him out. I'm trying to teach boundaries with the dogs and I hope it just takes consistency and time.
(I should also add, he's been a bit advanced as far as behavior and cognitive goes, and he is DEFINITELY acting like a toddler these days, lol).
