when to worry about pregnancy on the pill?

i’ve been on the pill for over a year never missed one (latest 2 hours late) and sometimes I still freak myself out and think i’m pregnant. :/. how would u tell if u were pregnant? I had a withdrawal bleed since I last had sex without a condom (he didn’t even cum in me either) but I had weird breakthrough bleeding that month before my normal withdrawal bleed. I now decided to use condoms to be extra safe. should I not worry since I had withdrawal bleed and am using condoms? I just wanna know what would happen if u were pregnant on the pill.

If ur taking the pills properly (combination pills have a +/- 2 hour window for perfect use/99.7% effectiveness), then ur fine!! U typically wouldn’t have withdrawal bleeding if u were pregnant. But, not having withdrawal bleeding doesn’t necessarily mean ur pregnant either, as hormonal birth control thins the uterine which can result in little to no bleeding at times. If ur that worried, then do what ur currently doing by using condoms. U can also test every once in a while for reassurance, but it’s usually not necessary, again, if ur using the birth control properly. 
Note... mini/progestin only pills are typically much more time sensitive than combination pills pills & need to be taken within a smaller time frame or else chances of pregnancy high.
