How many diapers to start with?

I’m looking at using Alva Baby one size fits all pocket diapers and I’m wondering how many should be needed. Even if I need to buy more after she’s born that’s fine, I just want a general start amount.

I'd be aware it's highly unlikely that they'll fit from birth unless you have huge babies, BTP/OSFM tend not to actually fit properly till around 12lb! Need decent thighs for them not to leak 🤣 Muslins or terries with wraps is an affordable option to bridge the gap xx

You generally need 24-36 per child. It really just depends on how often you want to wash them. I wash every other day. I had 36 when I just had one kid, then bumped to 50 when I had two in cloth diapers. It gave me enough to wash every other day, but also have a few left over in case of some kind of emergency that prevented me from washing on wash day.
