Cysts during period
Hi ladies! I’ve struggled with painful cysts for a few years. Ive had to have multiple ultrasounds and MRIs but the results are that they always are benign. They are very painful, especially during my period and ovulation. And sometimes sex. It is always on my left side. I’ve noticed a trend. On my third day of my period, I feel bloated and it’s a stabbing/ pinching pain on my left side. It almost feels like my ovary is about to explode. When I breathe in or stretch, the pain increases. If I go to the bathroom (#2) I do notice a bit of relief sometimes. I use a menstrual cup and sometimes I need to take it out as I feel the pressure is pushing on to the cyst. I’m not sure if it’s the same reoccurring one or I get a new one each month (I believe I have a more active ovary than the other) also, my endometriosis definitely runs in the family, so not sure if that pain is associated with that. I have not need diagnosed for endo (not had the surgery) but, my doctors believe the chances are high I have it with these symptoms and that is runs in the family. Does anyone else struggle with something similar? Did you have any problems conceiving? If not, did this make your pregnancy more painful or did the cyst go away? Thanks!
