Dying a child’s hair?
Not sure if it’s quarantine or what...but I have noticed a ton of parents dying their kiddos’ hair. Like pink, blue, rainbow, you name it. Kids that are like 6-7 years old.
Growing up, I couldn’t even get highlights until I was a teen, and then I was only allowed natural colors. It makes me really sad to see kids with pink hair, instead of their beautiful natural hair. It’s also incredibly damaging to the hair. I mean, I am sure as a 6 year old I wanted pink hair at some point, but if I wanted a tattoo I wouldn’t have gotten it either. Haha.
Anyone else think this is a weird thing to do with young kids?
Edit: I am speaking about permanent dyes. I have seen many, many, many parents post pictures of bleaching their child’s hair and then adding a permanent color like pink, purple, etc. Not talking about wash out color.
