Idk what to do

So I’ve been talking to this guy for 2 months n I really like him n I pretty sure he does too but I have really bad trust issues bc my last relationship I was in 8 months ago he would beat me cheat on me lie to me for 3yrs... I decided to give this guy a chance my first relationship in a while n he respects me treats me so good n also treats my daughter good she’s 1. But like I said I can’t trust him for some reason I feel like he’s texting other girls or doing something.!! He has a kid too but he’s older n I keep thinking he’s still doing stuff with his ex but he says no that they just talk for his son. N he even shows me his phone n stuff I don’t ask him to but he shows me n tells me he only likes me if he didn’t he wouldn’t be hanging out with me everyday. Idk what to do I feel really bad when I feel like that 🥺
