my baby girl got diagnosed with acid reflux at 5 weeks and she went on gaviscon which worked for a while she is now 14 weeks old and for the last few days she has dropped her feeding intake and refusing to take bottles so my partner took her to the urgent care centre where they prescribed her special milk we tried that she refused to take it. so i rang 111 up got a doctors appointment and she was useless she told us that she shouldnt be on the special milk. and prescribed her retindine which has been discontinued. so today my partner took her a&e and they have gave us some lansoprazole and to carry on with the gaviscon. she also has been referred to a pediatrician too. she also got to weighed in 2 weeks time as she hasnt gained any weight. anyone in the same boat.
