I have been having the strangest episodes for a month now, they usually happen in the middle of the night. My doctor seems to think it’s just pressure on blood vessels, but it seems like more to me.

I wake up very dizzy and my heart is pounding. This dizziness makes me nauseous and contractions start. They are usually about 20 minutes apart for an hour or two. The nausea can lead to diarrhea and vomiting as well as anxiety over the symptoms. Sometimes I faint, getting chills and shaking. Eventually when everything subsides, usually after staying up for several hours, sitting upright, and sipping on a cold drink I feel crummy for several days and have more mini episodes.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Baby seems fine, lots of movement. I’m well hydrated. I’m only 29 weeks and I don’t want to go through this for two more months.
