My mother in law was so nice to me in the beginning of my husbands and my relationship. We traveled and lived around the world for a few years and finally settled back home and lived in a house one minute away from my in laws during my pregnancy and the first 6 months of our child’s life.

The moment my child was born my MIL went crazy. She came over CONSTANTLY, every hour nonstop. My husband asked her if she could just give us a few weeks to settle in and to come just every few days. She didn’t listen. She snuck in our home while we were out to go through our things. Would come by and peak through windows. She said I was ruining her life and chance to be a grandmother. Wanted to take my nursing baby overnight and was upset when we said absolutely not. Spread lies to the whole family about me. She went crazy. I let her see her grandchild nearly daily and this is how she acted.

It got so bad my husband found a job 18 hours away and we moved and have only seen her once in four years.

Any of your mother in laws crazy as well? I was so upset when all this happened because my parents died when I was younger and I dreamed of having a relationship with my husbands family. Just didn’t work out like that.
