Just had an IUD placed and was wondering about if I should stop using a cup due to the suction? Anyone use a cup with an IUD?

When I had my iud, my doctor told me to just make sure i broke the seal before pulling on the stem! I used a cup with my iud for almost a year and never had any problems!

My doctor told me I could keep using my cup when I got my IUD. I’m extra careful to break the seal before it comes down when I need to empty it, like no pulling the stem first. And after each period I check my strings.
