Best postpartum pads?

Question

I'm coming up to deliver and I've always used tampons but you can't use them after you give birth so what's the best pads for postpartum?  I haven't used pads since i was a teen.

I preferred these over the pads, but I just took as many pads from the hospital as possible! Those worked great too (with the mesh undies).

My nurse gave me a bunch of extra giant hospital pads, and then I switched to these when I ran out. They are thin enough that this is all I used until I was completely finished bleeding, but super absorbent and I never had leaks.

I used these. I HATED the underwear.. I had to switch back to these with my second baby.

First I asked for extra of the heavy duty ones from the hospital. They gave me a ton before I left. Once those were gone, I used these. I thought they worked great. I also hadn't worn pads since junior high so I just randomly guessed on these. I think I made a good choice.
