Nap tips ?!

Question

Hey anyone have any nap tips/tricks? My son hates to nap! He sleeps in his crib only with the sound machine and darkening shades.  He will be so tired rubbing his eyes but the second we start up the stairs he knows it’s time and freaks out! He’s fine for bedtime but during the day he just won’t go down! I’ve tried letting him cry I’ve tried picking him up .. nothing works 😩

I usually let my son sleep down stairs with me so when he wakes up he see me he could be worried about waking up and you not being there

Check out taking cara babies blog! There’s tons of tips without having to buy the classes. We do a nap time routine the same we do her bedtime routine just shorter and without changing into jammies. Diaper, nurse, and book. Then put her in her crib and she goes to sleep in about 10 min. We used the Ferber method to sleep train

We play slow relaxing music for some of my daughter’s naps. I don’t like using sound that is built into the Nanit camera all the time. We also put her in her sleeping sack and when she starts crying I talk to her and explain that she is tired and this is her nap time and that once she wakes up we will play. It may sound crazy but it works most of the time. We also hold her for about 10 minutes or so until she falls asleep.
