Dockatot Grand for toddler worth it?!?

Hi! I am the mother of a beautiful 17 month toddler who loves to snuggle when she sleeps. She always starts out in her crib and generally ends up in our king size bed with me in the middle of the night. I recently discovered I am pregnant so am looking for a way to gently give me daughter (and me) a little more sleep independence and thought the dockatot grande may be what I’m looking for. She is a notoriously bad sleeper (or an excellent sleeper in training) so I am concerned about spending close to $300 for something she won’t use. On the flip side if it helps her sleep I will gladly pay the money!

We did not use the Dockatot Deluxe when she was little and my husband thinks this will be a waste of money and that she will just climb out of it to snuggle with me. He also thinks it’s expensive for a glorified dog bed. I guess I’m hoping for a miracle with it based on all the great reviews.

Anyone have any experience with it for toddlers. Would love to hear pros or cons!
