Did Zoloft or Lexapro work better for you?

I know everyone reacts differently to SSRI’s, I know I have post Partum OCD and was put on Lexapro. I know it’ll take a few weeks to kick in, but I noticed on the description it’s mainly for anxiety and depression which I have both of those as well. But I read Zoloft was better for OCD. Any info would be great.

lexapro changed my life for the better. i never thought it was possible. 6 years of different medications and finally one that works so well i’m not even the person i used to be. bipolar and bpd seemed to control my life but i am definitely the one in control of my thoughts, emotions and reactions now.

I’m on Zoloft I’ve never tried Lexapro, but so far Zoloft has been working although I need an increase badly. I felt like I had control over my life again but I’m used to the dose and my symptoms have returned but I like it so far. Been on it since December 2019.

I've tried both. Zoloft worked better for me but had bad symptoms. I'm currently taking Lexapro and it's not working but I'm probably not on the right dose.

Zoloft has helped my OCD so much! I tried ignoring meds for the longest and it’s changed my life I have extremely bad ocd. Aka counting my steps at the store and if I go over I leave my cart in the middle of the aisle bad. It’s helped me calm down along with Xanax for me to go shopping. We’re improving with the help of meds

I didn't know zoloft helped with OCD tbh. I used to take the generic version my last year of college up til about December last year. I didn't mind it for my depression; felt really good when I first got on it but maybe it was placebo. I'm thinking about going back on it since my last refill was kinda messed up (gotta start over)
