I got a 3rd degree tear due to emergency vacuum use and a hemorrhoid.

im now 19 days postpartum and I just today finally got the courage to look down there and see the damage

oh my gosh, i’m currently lying down lightheaded. I hate seeing wounds on my body it makes me sick.

according to google a 3rd degree tear is also a muscular tear, so when I heard of stitches I assumed the muscle and the skin would be stitched back up.

but what I saw was that the skin wasn’t stitched but the muscle was?

Idk how to explain it but it doesn’t look like what I thought it would

should I be worried 😭
