When will baby start playing with toys?

Question

I got him a rattle, and he has a Sophie giraffe. We will be receiving a jumper soon. He's not super interested in his toys at the moment. Do you guys have any for your babies?

My daughter is 3 months and absolutely loves this! She smiles and gets really excited when we press it. She now tries to reach out and grab it. This is the only thing she really interacts with. She also has a play gym for the floor but soon gets bored.

I am obsessed with buying toys!!! I think the fact we are have been in lockdown for over 2 months made me worry about her development and I just bought loads of different toys. She interacts with everything really well. Her favourite is her foil blanket, she sits scrunching it on her own for ages.

My son just within the last week has started really playing with his little toys! He will pick them up and put them in his mouth or look at them and throw them on the floor! Lol he is 17 weeks today

The Lamaze toys are super colorful and my baby girl likes looking at them (Jacque the peacock is her favorite.). We also have this cloud rattle that changes colors and a few crinkly books. My baby is pretty entertained by looking, but doesn’t really interact yet. She’ll laugh if you hold it far away and then wiggle it down to boop her nose though lol.

My little girl is 14 weeks old and has no interest in toys. She won’t even look at them let alone reach or hold them. She can track faces but won’t track toys. Hoping she will show interest soon.

My daughter will be 3 months on Sunday. I purchased this firefly for her when she was about 3 weeks old. We started by me moving the firefly around and her actively tracking him. Within the last 2-3 weeks she interacts on her own with him. We can just place her in her bouncy seat and put Mr. Firefly on her lap and she’ll pick him up and move him around and even suck on his wings/body. She is entertained for quite some time with this.

My son is 3 months. He doesn’t really play with rattles or anything yet but if you hold something in front of him (or it’s hanging) he’ll look at it and swat at it and all.

I’m wondering this as well. From a young age (weeks old) we introduced him to rattles. We got him a few but the one he’s really taken a liking to is a skip hop one with a fuzzy cloud on the top (we call it cloudy). He takes it on every stroller ride and now has learned to grasp it for a few weeks. The other “toy” is one of this little stuffed animal security blanket/handkerchiefs. We got a sloth and a jellyfish one at target and he loves it. He grabs it and snuggles up w/ it, tries to suck on it haha! This is him w/ cloudy. He is almost 11 weeks now.
