Trans Boyfriend?

Question

I’m sixteen, my boyfriend is eighteen, we’ve been together for 6 months and my only other relationship was with a girl, it lasted like 8 months. My boyfriend is kinda fat, like overweight (a solid 100 pounds heavier than me) and i mind but like that’s not the point of this post. He’s been trying to lose weight and late one night i asked him why he wanted to lose weight and he said that it was because he wanted to transition from a guy to a girl. This like kinda bothered me but the next morning he just kinda brushed it off like he was tired and didn’t know what he was talking about. 
Yesterday he asked me if i would still love him if he was a girl and i said yes but honestly i don’t think i would. I don’t know if it’s blatant transphobia or just a preference. I like girls and dated a girl before him so the issue can’t be that i don’t like girls but i just don’t like the idea of him as a girl if that makes sense. 
Advice? What do i do? and how do i talk to him about it?

Honestly if you feel that way then just talk to him and I don’t know how he personally feels about you that he would try to change himself to fit your wants and needs but just let him be who he is without making yourself go through anything you don’t want to if that makes sense?

You'll never know until it happens. I would be supportive of his possible transition, and see what happens. It's okay if you don't like her after the transition. There's nothing wrong with you, no transphobia, or any thing like that.
I had a friend who I'd known as a girl my whole life. She transitioned to a boy and his personality changed as well. I'm not sure if he was always secretly like that, or if it was the change that changed him. Back to it, he became himself and our personalities were no longer compatible. I had let every thing run it's course and we ended our friendship on a bad note. I don't regret not being friends anymore, or the friendship we shared in the past. Not saying your relationship will end on a bad note or anything, but don't knock it until you try it.
Also, don't go into anything thinking negatively. That's the foundation for destruction.

You might just be feeling this way because you are surprised by what you have been told. Be honest with them and once you have processed what you have been told you might be alright with it. One of my best friends came out as trans a few years ago and at first I was very shocked and didn’t know what to think. Now I understand and have processed it, I’m fine with it. As long as you’re open with them and they are open with you, the easier it might be. X
