I found out like 3 days after a missed period that I was pregnant. I knew I couldn’t keep it but tried to go the herbal way as it worked for me before (vitamin C, Dong Quai, Parsley) and also because I couldn’t find any other alternative at the time.

After 2 weeks it didn’t work and i was getting really bad morning sickness and couldn’t move, so I managed to get the pill misoprostol.

On 11 April, I was 6 and a half weeks and I took the pills as instructed by planned parenthood (I did a lot of research before I took it). It was as described except I had almost no pain at all. Only for one hour I couldn’t move in my bed and after that the pain was bareable. When I started bleeding, I passed a blood clot the size of a lemon and I wanted to check so I opened it up and saw white powdery like ball. This is why I was convinced it worked. I had bareable pain for very little and I did not bleed much at all. Only passed blood clots and within 2 hours after I started bleeding, it slowed down and the next day not even a full pad of blood. I continued bleeding for about a week to 10 days very lightly.

So now fast forward, it’s been a month and I should get my period. I had started bleeding lightly exactly on 11 May that continued until 18 May. It was just such little blood and very dark so I assumed my body was having a hard time restarting my period. On the 19th I took a pregnancy test and it was still positive that is why I worried for ectopic. That night I started bleeding heavily but had only normal cramps and lower back pain before I fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning, my pad was soaked. It continued till the next afternoon where it slowed down and started overnight again. It is now day 8 of my period and I’m still passing blood clots and quite some bleeding but the flow has slowed down since it started. I probably use 2 pads a day. 1 normal and 1 maxi of which both don’t get soaked by the end of the day. I also have no pain aside from normal period cramps in my lower tummy and lower back pain which I often had while having my period. My usual period before getting pregnant would last 4 days with the 4th day being very light bleeding.

I would be 11-12 weeks pregnant. Do you think this is my period or an ectopic pregnancy?
