How to get a crazy cat in a cat carrier?

I have tried and tried and tried to put my cat in her carrier by myself but I cannot do it. When I pick her up and take her near it, she freaks out and claws me and jumps out of my arms. Then I spend forever chasing her. Then if I’m lucky enough to catch her and get her near the carrier again, she goes crazy again and I just can’t get her inside. I have nobody else to help me. Putting treats in her carrier doesn’t work.

Any advice?
