I know they say not to have crib bumpers but my girl started moving all over the place and now always sticks her feet through the slots in her sleep and it makes me nervous that she’ll roll and break her foot! Are mesh crib bumpers ok? Advice?

This is what I’m super afraid of. Because she flails and moves so fast and aggressively I feel like she’s gonna break her arm.

My baby does this also. I asked her pediatrician about it. She said absolutely no bumpers. Even the mesh. She said baby is more likely to smother in a bumper than break their leg or foot in the crib.

My kid is always moving around and sticking his legs out, but I researched bumpers and everything I read says the risk is too high. So I am at a loss. I don’t know which risk is greater at this point.

I never had them with my first but had to get the mesh ones this time bc my son kept rolling and getting his leg caught. I couldn’t even use the washroom without him getting stuck and crying in pain. I didn’t want a broken limb!

Mine does this too so I don’t know. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I just let her bump her foot and leg. Shrug. I figured she’d learn the more she does it. It hasn’t been to the point where I’m scared yet. She uses the crib to grab onto and turn around and turn over too 🤦🏽‍♀️ last night I woke up 3x and every single time she was back on her stomach screaming, after putting her back to bed on back. Omg. 😒

I use mesh ones, I know they say not to but I didn't feel comfy with my baby banging his head and sticking his arms/legs out.  I figured the mesh ones are more breathable than the thick really padded ones.
