Is 33wks too late for a 3D/4D Ultrasound?

Due to COVID-19, my husband hasn’t been able to see our daughter, live, at the ultrasound. It’s his first child and I feel bad that he’s missing this experience. I want to schedule a private 3D ultrasound for Father’s Day, but I’ll be a little over 33wks by then - does anyone know if that’s “too late” to have a good experience? (i.e. baby too big/crowded to get good pics, etc.)

28-32 weeks is what’s recommended I guess it just depends on how big baby is .

I'm going one at 32 weeks for the same reason. Just make sure you drink a lot of water leading up to it. They will get clearer pictures that way!

The place I go recommend 26-32 weeks but they said they’ve done some around 36 weeks and got good picture. It’s all about how big baby is and how much fluid is around the face for a good pic. I think you’ll be good

Where I go, 28-32 weeks is the recommended time. But I went at 32 weeks and didn’t have a good experience! She was way too far down and smooshed to get any good pictures. I went at 30 weeks with my 2nd child and they turned out great.

The place I went to said 27-35 weeks is ideal. I went yesterday at 27w4d and got really good images.
