Should Christian women wear makeup?

I only recently realized that people have many different opinions on this. Please disagree respectfully!

Yes you can wear it if you want. 
 the only verses that could possibly be used to support the stances of it is wrong to wear it ot to alter your appearance is the verses like in first peter 3 when speaking of a Godly woman it says
3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
 
That interpretation of it is wrong to dress up or wear makeup and jewelry is wrong in that if we were to literally take it as women should never do anything for outward adorning then they shouldn't wear clothes either as the verse clearly says putting on of apparel.  The verse is talking about what is your focus.  As Christian women we are to be more worried about our inner beauty and virtue not outward appearance.  God likes beautiful things if he didn't he would have made the earth plain and boring instead he created a multitude if intricately designed flowers and animals.  If you like makeup use just don't let it become an idol.

According to BIble we need to worry more about inside of our appearance not the outside in Bible is says don’t worry about your looks outside  to me I honestly think as Christians we should be example to the world and we should  be outstanding not compared to thous who don’t know God so we shouldn’t be piercing our bodies we should dress appropriate longer skirts and not using makeup to the point were blended with people that don’t know Jesus in Bible it says “ we are the light 💡 to the world “ what light are we when we looks like everyone else that’s what I always tell me self but that’s my thought I quit makeup years ago!
