My little is about 4 and a half months old, i brought up to his ped that lately anytime we put him down and walk away, he gets upset. ONLY if we walk away or turn our attention to something else. Doesn’t help he’s going through a sleep regression and doesn’t want to nap and when he does it’s impossible to lay him down. She said it sounds like he’s developing separation anxiety and to just let him cry it out, so he can start learning to self soothe. Sometimes that works other times it just makes the crying fit worse. I wear him in the carrier to get stuff done but there are things I absolutely need to put him down for. Any tips? Anyone going through this?
