Vaginal breech birth, anyone else?

Question

My baby is breech and if The a ECV is unsuccessful I will then be looking into breech vaginal birth, as my hospital has 2 OB’s who are well trained in them ( very rare these days). 
Just curious as to anyone else in the same boat who has the option where they live?

Yep I'm in the same boat. Planning a vaginal breech birth incase baby doesn't flip/ECV fails. Just hoping positioning of baby feet and neck is all good when the time comes so I'm not forced into a section.

I am in the same boat! My baby turn her head back up at 33 wks. I am hoping she will go back down before the big day. If not, I am plan on doing the same as you.

I have friends who have had successful vaginal breech births. We have one dr in the area who is well trained in them. So awesome for doing your research and being confident! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Also can be complications as the head is the biggest part of the baby. The canal can not stay wide enough or can press on the cord cutting oxygen off. A c secrion is considered safer but you should do your own research too other than my advice or anyone elses

I have my growth scan Wednesday and I have a feeling baby is transverse but l am going to decline an EVC if they suggest it. It rarely is ever successful, very painful for mom and puts the baby through way too much stress. Many times they end up in a c-section..

Im.not doing an ecv it can put baby in distress and can go into labor or emergency c section. Also its only 50 percent successful. Also most likely having a c section because again I don't want my baby not to become distressed or have hip dysplasia

I have been considering this, but I would have to switch hospitals. I’m having my ECV tomorrow.
