I don’t know if I’m still going to the debs(prom) with my ex who I’m now friends with.

So I became friends with this boy last year. We went our then broke up but we stayed friends. In December he asked me to go with him to the debs. We got together again in February but it only lasted until April but as I said were still friends. Now it hasn’t been brought up. And I think he might be texting someone new, but I don’t know whether we’re still going together or not. I’d be happy to go with him but I don’t know about him. I don’t know how to bring it up without having a seriously awkward conversation. Any ideas?
