Will Tigg Become A Problem?

Question

This is Tigg, he’s 3 years old and neutered, been clingy but have been more clingy since my belly’s gotten bigger... Would he be a problem when the girls are born? Does anyone else have a cat and was there a problem between them and your newborn?

I have three cats. Two we had when he was born and neither of them were a problem in any way. Our newest one in the picture is my sons best friend, no joke, these two play like no other.  I have one very timid cat and she just stayed away from him and still does and I have another that loves attention and she would just curl up next to him. I am told you need to watch out for cats laying on babies face, we didn’t have that problem but our newest cat loves faces so we will be more cautious bringing the new baby home and likely lock him out the room the first couple nights. 
Every animal is different so just introduce your cat while you hold baby and someone else holds your cat and just see the reaction and be cautious.

My cats were super clingy when I was pregnant, and once my first arrived one had nothing to do with her and the other one actually kinda attached to her and enjoyed cuddling with us when she was itty bitty. Now that she’s a rambunctious toddler he keeps his distance lol.

Not at all.. my cats super clingy (to me only), at first she was curious.. would keep close by the baby but never next to him. Now she straight avoids him lol 
The most I have to worry about is her clawing his things (side of the bassinet, swing, playmat, etc.)

I have a male cat. He hates during the beginning of my pregnancies pees all over. But when my hormones level out he is fine. He loves the kids let’s them torture the crap out of them and sleeps with them. I do keep an eye that he isn’t sleeping too close to their faces when their little but other than that he has been great with all 3 of ours

Nope! It’s the opposite actually! Your cat will probably be very bonded to the baby😊

I have three all boys. When my now eight month old was born only one was curious but kept distant and the other two just didn’t care

Aww he is CUTE! I would not think so an my male yorkie is way more clingy since i was 8 wks prego im now 27 wks lol
