My partner embarrassed me over the weekend and I wasn’t going to mention it but he said I’d been quieter the last couple days.
So I told him and he got snappy and said I was overreacting, so I tried to rephrase and he said I didn’t need to repeat myself so I stopped talking. 
He then asked if I wanted burgers for dinner so I said I got stuff out for dinner already. I started cooking and he has food delivered. So he scoffs down the burger and goes and plays cod. 
So I said, you know I’m upset still, did you not think you should sort things out before you game tonight? 
He threw his headphones (they smashed) and screamed about how he had a shit day and now he had to cop my shit. I don’t engage with that so I came into the bedroom. 
That was an hour ago and he is still gaming while I sit in here feeling like shit. 
For newbies: this is updated from another COD post so I’m sorry for lack of details. We have basically argued a lot about how he is choosing gaming over me lately and had reached some compromises so I thought then on the weekend he kept bringing up things like that he would rather game than have sex with me in front of our friends.

Dude. He def sounds like a man child. He can play COD and not act like a little boy. I wouldn’t accept that. You need to figure out if that’s what you wanna deal with for the rest of your life or not. From your last post it sounds like things aren’t gonna change with him.

Sounds like he's clearly telling you what his priorities are. The question is, do you want to be with someone who prioritizes a video game over you?

I mean he's screaming at you over a video game. Think about that. My husband has at times shirked responsibilities in favor of gaming. I've heard him get angry at the game and sometimes come out snippy/miserable afterwards. I told him a few things... 1. He was not going to be engaging in leisure activities while I did the chores. 2. He was not going to stomp or yell because a stranger killed him. 3. Whatever happens in that room, stays in that room. For the most part, it worked. He goes through spurts where he plays often and then not at all for months. Each time he's back to playing, I remind him of the rules. If he ever yelled at me over the game though, there'd be no more gaming system. Act like a child, don't be surprised if you get treated like one.
Your issue isn't just about gaming though. It's about respect. He should not be talking to you or about you that way. If you've tried explaining why you feel the way you do about his behavior and he doesn't care to attempt to change, I don't see what you can do. You can stay and be miserable or leave. I know it's hard to make that decision. Before my husband, I was with a guy who disrespected, embarrassed me and put me last. I tried to reason with him and work with him for YEARS. It never changed.
