Hematoma?

Question

So I went for an ultrasound yesterday (7w pregnant) and she said I had a good size hematoma. I go to my OB at 3 today but has anyone ever had a hematoma? I've read you get put on pelvic rest and bedrest but also read it's nothing to worry about.

Hello,
I was just wondering how things worked out for some of you. Im 9 + 1 and was recently told I have a sm-med sized hematoma.  I havent had any bleeding, but it was discovered on an ultra sound.  My Dr didnt seem overly concerned but did mention it could carry a 15-20% chance of miscarriage.  Ive had 3 miscarriages (1 second trimester loss most recently) so Im extra nervous about what this diagnosis could mean. Any advice or stories youre willing to share would be greatly appreciated!

Me!!! Just left my doctor she said it’s basically a blood clot that formed and will MOST LIKELY heal on its own. Try to just relax & not lift anything too heavy!! Keep an eye out on the flow & color of spotting just to be safe but over all don’t stress it’s VERY COMMON!!

I have a small one they picked it up on my 10 wk scan I have bleed twice and some brown discharge it frightened the life out of me. I'm now 12 weeks and no bleeding or discharge the last few days so hopefully it is gone I will find out at my 13 wk structural scan.. They are really common..
