Have you given a pillow to your Sept babies? Also, have you transitioned to a toddler bed already?

My daughter still sleeps in a crib without a pillow or anything else in her crib (other than sleep sack). She started using our throw pillows on the couch during the daytime while watching TV or having a bottle and I feel bad and wonder if I should give her a toddler pillow for night time. Part of me feels like she's ready but part of me is still hesitant. I also read somewhere you shouldn't give a pillow until they transition out of the crib due to entrapment danger but I feel like that might be a lil overboard. Idk.. just wanted to see what other mamas are doing with their kiddos at this age.
