Ruby June....⁣ ⁣ What a treasure this little lady is. Throughout my pregnancy I’ve seen her grow and evolve in ways that I never expected. ⁣ ⁣ She’s become my mini-midwife. She’s infatuated with pregnancy and the birthing process. She loves learning about baby’s growth, and even what’s going to happen when baby is ready to arrive. ⁣ ⁣ The connection she has to her baby brother is absolutely adorable. When she wants to talk to him, she asks me to open my mouth and she just starts chatting to him directly through my mouth 😆😆 (cue my heart melting) ⁣ ⁣ She’s even told me she wants to help catch the baby! ⁣ ⁣ When I experience discomfort she comes to my side. Without me asking she rubs my belly with lotion, massages me with essential oils, cleans my energy with feathers, brushes my hair and even plays a sound healing drum for me. She’s 5!! It’s incredible to see her care taker essence really blossoming. ⁣ ⁣ I have a feeling this sweet baby girl is going to be in the healing arts or even a midwife one day. She is so into it and it’s just such a blessing to see this part of her come alive. ⁣ ⁣ I’m so grateful to be working with a midwife, @lauriefremgenmidwife , who welcomes children (pre Corona that is) into appointments. Pregnancy and birth can be such a beautiful family affair that facilitates major growth for all.
