When are you going to give whole milk to lo?

He's 10 months now and I believe when he turns 11 months I'm going to give it to him and if he likes it right away I'll give it to him on the regular and cut out formula and if he doesn't I'll work with him until he does. I don't want him to be a child that's over a year old and still drinking formula. Plus formula is expensive compared to a gallon of whole milk lol.

I was talking to my mother in law about this today. My plan is to buy one can of formula once she is 11 months and use that to transfer her on to whole milk.

Starting at 11 months, yep. I’m due with baby #2 in August though so, so much for saving money. 😂

Not until shes a year old as recommended by her pediateician and the AAP. I plan on transitioning her over the course of a couple weeks from breastmilk to whole milk.

I was just going to post this same question about transitioning to regular milk. My son will be 10 months on the 27. I have home whole milk for the first time yesterday only because I forgot his formula 🤦🏾‍♀️ just needed to make one bottle until we made it home. He seemed to like it but he just drank it a little slower. I think I’m just going to give him regular milk during the day and formula at night when needed if he wakes up cranky. 
Any other moms plan on doing that?

Our pediatrician said we could start introducing whole milk in a sippy cup at 11.5 months.

11.5 months for plant milk. Well transition to almond and soy from formula. She’s allergic to dairy.

11.5 months. We get 7 cans of formula per month on WIC and we still usually have to buy a big can ourselves to get her through the month, so we arent buying any for june and are only using our wic allotment and then transitioning on the last can or two.
