I went to the doctor yesterday and my cervix was completely closed. While i was at the doctor I was having contractions and cramps but nothing she was concerned about. I’m 36 weeks and 6 days. Baby weighs 7 pounds 13 ounces.

Today I’ve been having the cramps still and I suddenly have a TON of pressure down there. TMI but it’s almost like I have to poop but I don’t. I have this strong urge to just push but nothing comes out.

What should I do? Is this normal? I’m just puzzled because yesterday I wasn’t dilated at all so surely I’m not in labor this quick? First time mom here so I’ll take all the advice I can get
