Anxiety over sex?

(Posted in another forum but realized that probs wasn’t the best one to do it in (??) Sorry! Still getting used to this)

Hi all! I need some tips and advice.

I had sex (used a condom) for the first time over two months ago. I’m 21 and waited until I was with someone I love and I could fully trust. I got my two cycles right on time after so I know I’m good there.

But I’m still freaking out at moments like what if I’m pregnant?? I even took two tests like 4 weeks ago and they were negative. I sometimes have to stop everything I’m doing and go back to the facts to calm me down like yes I used a condom, I got my regular periods afterwards, I followed the directions to the test to a T and they came out neg.

But sometimes my anxiety is so bad that I get heartburn and feel a lil nauseous.

I’m not sure if maybe I’m just doing this to myself because I feel guilty for having sex?? Like my mom has always told me “you’re going to get pregnant if you have sex and you’re going to throw off your college plans and career”. I know for sure I don’t want a kid right now so maybe it’s just getting at me?

Any advice on if you’ve ever freaked out after your first time (or not your first time) and ended up not pregnant and how to control this anxiety!

I have already decided to not have sex until I’m past all this and I’m getting on the pill soon.

Thanks all💕💕
