Hi! I’m 17 and i have a copper IUD that i combine with condom for extra safety. The problem is that last time i had sex, the condom broke but i didn’t make a big deal out of it because of my IUD. My cycles usually last for about 42-45 days and more sometimes except for the last two months where they were 33 and 36 days. Now, i’m on day 45 (which was normal for me before) of my cycle and i still didn’t had my period. My biggest concern is that, because of the pandemic, i wouldn’t have access to the medical help that i could need if i’m pregnant. My mom knows everything about my contraception and she is aware that i have sex. But i’m still really scared to talk to her about it and i’m scared of her reaction maybe? My question is, am i too worried about me being pregnant or should i take a pregnancy test? And if i’m pregnant, how can i announce it to my mom so she can help me?
