is my sprintec birth control making me gain weight?

i’ve been on sprintec birth control since about october/november and since then i’ve gained about 15-20 pounds. i honestly have really changed anything that i think could cause this and the only thing i can think of is the pill. if that is the case then i want to get off of it. over the past months i’ve tried many methods to loose the weight from exercise and dieting to only eating one time or none a day. i need help or suggestions.
