How many naps is your baby taking a day?

My 6 month old has decided she only needs one 1-2 hour nap a day. Before this she was taking 2-3 40 minute naps a day. I have read all the books, all the blog posts, talked to a sleep consultant. Nothing works. She sleeps all night and is fairly happy during the day so I’m guessing she just doesn’t need the day sleep??

At home she’ll take a long morning and afternoon nap (1-2 hours) and one short early evening nap (tops 30 min). At daycare  though she doesn’t get her morning nap because there’s too much going on she’s too distracted and it’s tough to squeeze in the evening nap too 😭

Baby’s need 3ish hours of day sleep. My baby takes usually an hour morning and afternoon nap and 30 minutes late afternoon.

2-3. She usually fights the Late afternoon nap pretty hard so sometimes we bail on it. But her earlier naps are usually 1-2 hours each

Mine has 3-4 naps a day but theyre only 20 minutes. His record is 40 minutes i think thats happened twice but hes so moody in the day and so hard to distract he does go 7pm - 6/7am at night xx

It’s normal by 6mo they start switching to 2 long naps a day. My LO still sleeps 3 naps a day from 45-2hrs
