How long are your IUD Strings?

Hello! 
So I just got a IUD 3 weeks ago and I am loving it! 
I have no pain whatsoever...but because I have never been on birth control I’m a little stressed because it’s a little new to allow my boyfriend to cum in me and not run for Plan B! 
That being said - this is my paranoia talking here - but how long are your IUD strings coming out of your cervix? And also, do your strings move occasionally? When I had mine inserted she wrapped the strings around my cervix but now they are dangling down more.

I had an IUD (mirena) for 5 years and I absolutely loved it! Only went off of it so we can try for a baby, and I’ll get another IUD put right back in after we do have one! It’s ok for the strings to move a bit, but you shouldn’t be able to feel the ends poke your finger when you check them (or poke your boyfriend!) If they were cut too long, the doctor can easily trim them in a quick appointment.

My strings move around cervix sometimes but they've curled up. Ive had mirena for 2 years. We dont use condoms or pull out and i havent gotten pregnant. I check my strings monthly.
