So my father in law and his wife got all this baby stuff and they were showing us through FaceTime. We were told they were given to his wife at work because they held a “Grandma Shower” for her... It included bibs, diapers, formula, a diaper bag, blankets, bottles. We were excited for all this stuff because they made it seem like we were gonna get al this stuff. I mean, we are the ones with the baby we were so thankful. Come to find out, it’s NOT for us. It is for them for when we come over or we leave the baby over there. (Yes, they think I am going to leave my baby with them from time to time) The thing is we rarely go over there. They are also now saying they are going to buy a high chair because he is going to start solids soon. So I just wanna ask is this a bit weird or normal grandparent behavior?
