Is this a cold sore or something else? I’ve had it for 2 days now and it’s a bit sore but not tingly or anything. It’s annoying. I’ve never had a cold sore before but I have 4 children, one being a baby and I’m scared in case he accidentally ouches it

It does look like one to me.  My husband gets them all the time and they look exactly like that.  The only thing that’s different is I have never seen a cold sore in the middle of the lip like that.

Doesn’t look like a cold sore, maybe a little cut you didn’t know about that got inflamed.

Doesn't look like a cold sore... But I would keep away from kissing kids anyway before it heals. I think it is just like a bite in the lip, takes a bit time to go away. Or a pimple. There has been like two rare ocaasions in my life, I had a pimple on a lip, not in the middle, but on the lip 😃
