Question

Tell me if you have any relationship stories of going your separate ways and then coming back together. A right person wrong time kind of thing. I want to hear those stories of how your paths crossed again and how you two came to be again

I loved my high school boyfriend but things fizzled out with our colleges being four hours apart. It wasn’t a hard breakup, I think we always wanted to get back together. We dated other people in the meantime. We got back together senior year of college since we had cars and could visit each other more. It felt really good to be together again. Lasted about a year and then we broke up permanently when we got dream jobs in different states. We were in love and I felt like he was right for me, but I didn’t think he was the ONLY man in the world who was right for me. I found someone I clicked with way better AND he lived in my city! I still think about “what if” scenarios with the last guy but wouldn’t trade my husband for anything.

i met my boyfriend when we in highschool and we clicked pretty fast. we never made it past “talking” cause i was a dummy who “dIdnT wAnNa DaTe in hS” we’d gone our seperate ways and stayed friends. after i graduated i actually started emotionally taking care of myself and his senior year (he’s a year behind me) he did the same and changed his entire lifestyle/outlook. i went to one of his gigs and caught up. we had just a great night hanging out and being doofs. i saw him a few months later and we actually kept up contact until we dated. he always was one of my favorite people to be around and i’m really glad it worked out when and how it did.
