Would u ttc with more likelyhood of having autistic child?

I'm in a fb group for parents with autism  as my son has Aspergers  a women made a post to which she asked would u ttc knowing there was a chance ur child could have autism? Obviously I said yes as I think ever child is a blessing no matter if they are diffrent  if my nxt child has Aspergers I will be thrilled just wondering what other people think ? Also I know there is diffrent types  very big spectrum my Uncle is Autistic my mom helps with his money certain thing he just needs extra help with  and he may do things differently  but has had an amzaing life even had a child my cousin who got into college at just 14 .just wondering everyone's  view on this ?

Every person who’s TTC should vote yes because there’s always a chance of a child having Autism. There’s no way to know, no way around it.

There is ALWAYS a chance and if you’re not willing and able to care and love for an autistic child than you shouldn’t be a mother/parent period. The fact that so many people even say no to this astounds me.. sad. Wanting to be a mother shouldn’t come with terms and conditions like “only if my child is healthy”.

Yuuuup. My husband has autism. I work as a behavioral specialist in an autism unit. And I have a son and plan to have more. Knowing that it is genetic. 😁 my husband is literally a genius. With an immensely high IQ and the sweetest man alive. ❤

Honestly I’m not sure. I work with kids on the spectrum and have for years. I had one student in class who had 4 other siblings all on the spectrum, a couple were non verbal and very low. It’s not easy raising a child with Autism never mind more than one. I love my students, I love working with them and everything about their individual special qualities but I can’t say as a parent how I would feel.

It might sound messed up, but if I can I’d like to avoid a child with special needs. I’ve worked with adults with Autism and have seen how it affected their families and parents. 
I think my boyfriend has ADHD and honestly it’s making me reconsider having kids with him just because I know the challenges that come with that diagnosis also. 
Before you all come at me, know that I work in the psychology field. 
I’m sure there isn’t a parent out there that doesn’t absolutely love their special needs child unconditionally. I’m just speaking about the stress it puts on the mom...financially, mentally, emotionally. 
And of course, we can’t control everything. For all I know, I could have a baby with genetic defects or something. 
Just my opinion. There are individuals out there that choose not to have a baby when they discover that they have been diagnosed as Bipolar or Schizophrenic, who don’t want to pass that on to their child.
