Unless being held! A little backstory...

So my child’s father and I was suppose to move in together but he broke up with me during my pregnancy. I made some hard decisions but decided to give up my apartment and move back in with my mom to save money so I can buy a house in the next year. My mom critiques EVERYTHING I do...even if the pediatrician suggests something or tells me to do something she will say “I wouldn’t do that” “we didn’t do that when we were raising kids” It’s annoying as hell!

So my little man slept in bed with me twice after getting circumcised and having an extremely bad butt rash in the same week! He was sooooo fussy that week and this was the only way he was able to get some sleep. She was soooo against this that she triple teamed me with my stepmom and baby father’s mom. Made me feel like complete crap and basically continued to critique and make me feel like a shitty mom....so I started to put him back in his bed at night...the ONLY issue is.... during the day she will hold him to no end. I tell her to put him down all the time so he can get use to sleeping in his bassinet but of course she has something to say. If she is watching him bc I have a doctor appointment she will hold him the entire time I am gone....so now my precious little one month old won’t sleep in his bassinet and definitely won’t sleep at night unless being held!!!

Any advice is welcome....btw I’m a FTM....
